Our Team
Michael Shelden
Owner, Accountant and Tax Preparer
Mike has been in the accounting field for over 20 years. A native of Florida and a graduate of Purdue University and of Indiana University, he has firmly planted his roots here in Kokomo to raise his family with his wife Cathy. He considers himself a Hoosier now.
Mike started Shelden Accounting & Tax Service in 2021 after working with Bergstrom, Lenon & Clark for 19 years. He was also recently appointed to the board of Habitat for Humanity of the Kokomo Community as treasurer. He loves spending his down time with his wife, three kids and all his pets.
Victoria Shelden
Bookkeeper and tax preparer
Victoria, Mike’s daughter, is a Kokomo native. She is a current Ivy Tech student and has been preparing taxes since we opened in 2021. She and her wife, Brandie, are proud pet-parents of three dogs and seven cats! She has picked up the crochet bug from her mom and loves to make gifts for her family and friends.
Brieanna Burke
Office manager
Brieanna is a Michigan native and still loves the Detroit Lions! She is an avid crafter and spends our off-season traveling Indiana selling at craft shows and festivals with her mom. Married to her husband Paul for 15 years, she has a brilliant and creative teenage daughter. She has been in customer service for over 20 years.
